     Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What are your workshops like?
All of our workshops are interactive classes, not group therapy
or counseling. Think of it as "Driver's Ed" for relationships.
The instructor presents material and teaches exercises which
participants practice with a partner.

But what if I just hate groups?
Many people who "hate" groups love our workshops. Instructors
teach to a group of people and do not single out anyone.
Participants can sit back and learn without saying a word if they
so choose.

How many participants are usually in your workshops?
It varies. A typical class size is between 12 and 18 participants.
This small size allows a sense of safety and community among
the group, and allows opportunity for individual attention from
the instructor.

I don't think that we have time for this. We are so busy.
Most people who take marriage and parenting workshops are
busy people. Part of the commitment to relationship education
is to set aside time and to make the relationship a priority. You
will learn skills that will help you to examine your lifestyles and
make changes that lead to more fun and more peace.

We've already had counseling. Can your workshops help us?
Workshops differ in several ways from counseling and are not
intended to compete with or replace work with your therapist. All
workshops are skills-based courses. They teach practical
relationship tools that can be learned and repeated to maintain
healthy relationships, at a fraction of the cost of therapy.

We've been married for 20 years. Can your workshops or
coaching help us ?
SURE.  They often enable people to rekindle a spark that
becomes a wonderfully pleasurable relationship again. It's not
the length of time married, it's the desire and commitment to
change and grow and experience joy that makes the difference.
